This is my very first questionnaire that i created. I handed it out to a variety of people who would fit in with my target audience, and asked them to fill it in. I then read over the answers that i was given, and checked to see if the answers i was getting back were irrelevant with what i was wanting to find out; what genre people were interested in. If there was a question which provided me with useless information, such as Q14 (was basically the same as Qd) i would scribble it out. I then decided that visually, the questionnaire wasn't very appealing, as my target audience love colour and pictures, so i thought that on my second draft, images and colour would be included. I also noticed that some questions were not able to be answered if the question before meant that a 'No' answer was previously given. Therefore i decided that at the end of these type of questions, a simple "If yes, please go to Q10, if no, please go to Q12" should be given, which guided the participants in the correct direction. The first draft also made me realise that whilst analysing the results of the questionnaire, there was no where to write down notes etc. so a margin down the right hand side of the page should be left for admin use.Thursday, 4 February 2010
